1). Minimum Requirements
- CPU: 1.0GHz Intel Celeron or equivalent
- RAM: 512M
- OS: Windows2000/XP/2003/Vista/Win7/2008 ( both 32bit and 64bit can be supported.)
2). Recommended Requirements
- CPU: 1.8GHz Intel Pentium4
- RAM: 1G
- OS: Windows2000/XP/2003/Vista/Win7/2008 ( both 32bit and 64bit can be supported.)
The above requirements are calculated for monitoring/filtering of maximum 25 computers. If you need to monitor/filter more computers, please check the following algorithm:
3). Calculate hard disk space and RAM required.

- WFilter main process needs to listen on TCP port 9090 to handle web UI. If you can not open WFilter UI, please adjust your firewall program settings.
- A web browser of Internet Explorer 6.0 or firefox 3.0 is required for WFilter web UI to display correctly.
- The default trial version only monitors 8 computers, if you want to evaluate monitoring of more computers, please apply for evaluation keys at: Get WFilter Evaluation Keys.
- If this is your first time using WFilter, please read the "Getting Started with WFilter".
- If you cannot monitor other computers in your network, it is a deployment issue. Please check: "WFilter Deployment Examples".
